WQED's Fred Rogers Studio
April 16 - May 2, 2020
by Hugh Leonard
One of the finest Irish plays from the pen of one of Ireland’s greatest playwrights. Hugh Leonard is no stranger to PICT audiences, as the author of The Mask of Moriarty (2011) and the adapter of Great Expectations (2014). But Mr. Leonard is best known in both Ireland and the UK for his autobiographical play Da. This is the story of Hugh Leonard’s own childhood in the small town of Dalkey, just south of Dublin, and of his adoptive parents known as Ma and Da. And if any Irish eyes could steal your heart away, they would unquestionably be the eyes of Hugh Leonard’s Da!
Appropriate for all ages. Performing at the Fred Rogers Studio, WQED.
